Description
"Response to Invervention (RTI) is an effective method for helping struggling learners achieve academic success. The good news is that RTI can also be a powerful management approach to challenging behaviors. This DVD focuses on TIER I techniques which can be used in the classroom to address: -- Rules, routines, and schedules -- Positive behavioral expectation -- Strategies for student behaviors which are: defiant/non-compliant, hyperactive/impulsive, or inattentive -- Targeted use of rewards and feedback -- Management of daily classroom transitions -- Use of data collection to measure and monitor behavior, including strategies such as daily behavior report cards. In addition to Tier I strategies, constructive and positive approaches to address student misbehavior are presented. Learn how RTI can be effectively used to create optimal learning environments with a minimum of discipline and behavior problems."--Container.
